PRESALE: Will ship on or before JULY 26th
We are so honored to have partnered with someone who means a lot to us, Tihoti Tatau. Known around the world for his traditional and unique style of Tatau (tattooing) he is one of the remaining few Native Polynesians who still have and practice their ancient art. Not only is this design incredible but Tihoti brings a lot of meaning behind it.
**The Wa'a or the double haul voyaging canoe connected all the people. It is a scared symbol that represented a village that was able to survive and move on the water, like the moving land.
**Tihoti includes the elements in this design with the Wa'a. The sun, moon, stars, waves, and birds were all things that are important to navigating the Wa'a. All of these elements bring life and are good for the land and sea.
**The Honu or the turtle represents wisdom and is the 'amakua to many Native Polynesian families. They teach us how it can be wise to move slowly and take our time, and the importance of our origin; to come back to our birth place after we are able to hatch and grow to lay eggs of our own.
We've created this design by intricately weaving threads together and it provides a mirrored design on the backside. We know you will enjoy this ageless Polynesian design that is soft and loomed with 100% raw Turkish cotton. These towels are much more absorbent, quick drying, light weight, sand resistant, multifunctional, and long-lasting then an ordinary terry cloth towel. With this trendy design and hand-tied fringes these towels make the perfect pair for the beach, baths, wall hangings, picnics, sarongs, table clothes, and much more. Colors do not fade or bleed over time. Machine wash in cool water with like colors (no harsh detergents, dryer sheets, or bleach) and tumble on low heat or hang to dry.
Colors WILL NOT FADE OR BLEED overtime.
Designed in Hawai'i
Hand Loomed in Turkey
100% Cotton 39"x71" (180cmx100cm)

The design is very special to us and we know that you will appreciate Tihoti's art just as much as we do.
